Welcome to Church Two42
If you are visiting for the first time, we would like to welcome you to Church Two42. We have ushers and greeters that are readily available to help direct you during our worship service. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where we can can glorify God together no matter the season of life we are in; connect in community, be encouraged by one another, and be inspired by the Holy Spirit. The hope is that everyone is seen, heard and loved, not just by the people that surround us, but by God.
The Basics
Our Sunday Services run for an hour and a half
YES, the coffee and donuts are FREE
Children’s Ministry is available @ both services: Nursery - 5th grade (Middle School @ 9:00am Service only)
The Alter is open during worship (you can come forward and glorify God at the front of the stage)
Messages are interactive (say Amen if need be and connect with the pastor)
Prayer Teams are available during both service (They will be standing in the side isles with a designated lanyards)
Offerings: NO passing a plate (If you want to give go online or there is boxes in the of the sanctuary)
Worship Service Atmosphere
Our worship services are vibrant and life-giving, marked by heartfelt music, authentic praise, and a deep awareness of God’s presence. We don’t believe worship is confined to one expression, but that it flows from a sincere heart. Whether you lift your hands, kneel in surrender, come to the altar, or sit quietly in reflection, there is space for you to meet with God. Come as you are, and respond as He leads, because true worship is not about how it looks, but about who it’s for.
Community
At Church Two42, we believe community is not an add-on, it’s part of who we are. We were never meant to walk this life alone, and there is something powerful that happens when we truly see and are seen by one another. That’s why we intentionally create space in every service for connection, not just a moment to say hello, but an opportunity to build real relationships, share life, and experience the love of Christ through His people. Lean in. Start a conversation. Share your story. You may walk in as a stranger, but our prayer is that you leave known, encouraged, and connected.
The Message
Each week, the message is not built on the talent of the preacher, but on the unchanging truth of God’s Word. We believe it is Scripture, not personality, that transforms lives, renews minds, and leads us into truth. Our heart is to faithfully teach and rightly handle what God has spoken, allowing His Word to speak clearly, convict deeply, and guide confidently. As it is written, His Word is living and active, able to meet you right where you are and lead you where He is calling you to go. Come ready not just to hear a message, but to encounter truth that shapes your life, strengthens your faith, and draws you closer to Him.
Coffee and Lobby
We believe church is more than a service you attend, it’s a community you belong to. In a world that moves fast and keeps people distant, we want to be a place where you can slow down, stay awhile, and truly be known. That’s why we create intentional space before and after every service, not just for coffee and donuts, but for connection. This isn’t about grabbing something and rushing out; it’s about lingering, meeting someone new, sharing a story, and building relationships that go beyond a Sunday moment. So take your time. Sit a little longer. Start a conversation. Because sometimes the most meaningful ministry doesn’t happen from a stage, but across a cup of coffee.
Inheritance Children’s Community
We know that as a parent, there is nothing more important than knowing your child is safe, seen, and deeply loved. At Church Two42, our heart is to partner with you, not just watch your children, but to help them encounter the love of Jesus in a real and lasting way. Our team of trusted, background-checked leaders serve with both intentionality and compassion, creating environments where children are nurtured, encouraged, and pointed to Christ through both word and example. Each week, your child will laugh, learn, pray, and worship alongside leaders who are committed to helping them grow in their faith and understand who God is in their life.
We thoughtfully place children in age and stage-specific environments so they can build meaningful friendships and engage with lessons designed just for them, meeting them right where they are and helping them take their next step with God.

• 3rd–5th grade
From their very first step into a classroom, our prayer is that your child wouldn’t just feel welcomed, but known, loved, and drawn closer to Jesus.
Frequently Asked Questions About Inheritance Children's Community

On your first visit, make your way to the Children's Check-In table in the lobby to the right of the main sanctuary. Here, one of our incredible volunteers will greet you, help get your child checked in for the first time, and show you to your child's classroom.

Our rooms are divided as follows: 0-2 years, 3-5 years, K-5 combined ( first service only), K-2nd grade & 3rd-5th grade ( second service only). Our team of incredible leaders ( we like to call them transformers) will talk to your child about what it looks like to know and follow Jesus! We do this by teaching from the Bible, having group activities and discussions about what we are learning, praying with and for each other, and joining the whole church community to praise and worship our Lord.

In addition to teaching the Bible every week, we have core truths that we focus on in each phase of a child's development.
In our Nursery and Preschool rooms, your child will learn that:

"Jesus wants to be my best friend forever."
"God made me."
In our Elementary rooms, your child will learn that:
I can know God
I can love God
I can trust God
I can be an example of God to the world

We are excited for every child that walks through our doors to join our community. We will work closely with families to ensure the safest, most accessible environment possible for your child to learn about and learn to love Jesus. Please make sure our team is aware of any accommodation your child may need on their first visit-including all known allergies.

We have volunteers available at every turn, so just look for someone with a blue shirt and friendly smile. They're here to help!

Parents need to check in their kids (birth - 5th Grade) before service. Plan on arriving 15-20 minutes early so that we can walk you through our secure check-in and check-out system. During this time we can register your family, check in your children, and lead you to your child’s classroom.
