As I’m sure you already know, it’ll never be a building, the staff or a beautiful worship set that makes a church, but rather the people who’s hearts are completely surrendered to God and moving with Him. I can honestly say that the people that make up Church Two42 truly have hearts for the Lord, His people and are on the move with God. I am so grateful to be a part of this community and to be sharpened by each one of them because it has forever marked my life as well as my children’s. So whether you’ve been walking with the Lord for decades, have been back and forth in your faith, or are completely new to it all, there is a place here for you to grow further with God and in His community!
As for me personally, I’m a single mama of two doing my best to live Gods word and will out and want to encourage others to do the same with God! What I’ve realized within my walk with Him, is that He uses every bit of our lives to not only teach and shape us, but also to help those around us. It just takes surrender, obedience and a complete trust in His plans (and timing) and not our own.
So as you navigate living Gods word and will out for your own life, marriage or families, I hope to be one of His many encouragements to you here at Church Two42. To point you back to His word, His timing and most of all His love and plans for you. If you need prayer or are looking to plug into community just reach out!
Lastly, if you have been in a relentless season of waiting or adversity, my heart is with you. I have faced countless storms in my life and it can feel overwhelming and even crushing at times. But you are not alone. When the disciples thought Jesus had somehow fallen asleep when they were amidst their own storm, He didn’t. Jesus was reminding them to keep their faith and trust in Him. And at the proper time, He calmed the raging seas that stood against them and took them over to the other side of their journey, and He will do the same for you. So if you’re in this season, take heart! Keep pursuing God, His word and plugging into biblical community. God is not done with your story!
