New to Church TWO42

Welcome to ChurchTwo42!

We are excited to have you join our community. At Church Two42, we desire to create an atmosphere where everyone feels loved, accepted, and encouraged on their spiritual journey. Our name, Church Two42, is inspired by Acts 2:42, which describes the early church's devotion to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer. This is foundational to our community. We are dedicated to providing relevant and engaging teaching from the Bible, fostering deep connections through genuine fellowship, sharing meals together, and nurturing a vibrant prayer culture. At Church Two42, we strive to create an environment where questions are welcomed, doubts are explored, and faith is deepened. We encourage you to come as you are, bring your authentic self, and be a part of a community that embraces you with open arms.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • GOD

We believe that there is one true God who is the living Creator, author of life, omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. He is eternally and exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and in glory. He is infallible in every way and governs all.

    CHRIST

We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, He is Lord, God in flesh, the one true Messiah, and Gods only begotten Son. We believe He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, released signs and wonders and was a profound teacher. Christ reconciled us to God through His substitutionary atoning death, and bodily resurrection. He ascended into heaven and sits at God’s right hand interceding on mankind’s behalf waiting for His return to the Earth.

    HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that the Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He also came forth to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ and are baptized in the Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Spirit.

  • Elementary

We have designated rooms for different age groups to provide age-appropriate experiences. Our rooms are divided as follows: 0-2 years, 3-5 years, combined K-5th grade (during the first service), and separate K-2nd grade & 3rd-5th grade (during the second service). In these rooms, we have a team of dedicated leaders whom we call "Transformers." They have a passion for teaching your child about knowing and following Jesus!

Our Transformers employ various methods to engage your child in their faith journey. They teach from the Bible, using relatable stories and lessons to help children understand God's word. Group activities and discussions are incorporated to reinforce what they are learning and encourage active participation. We foster a sense of community by praying together, supporting one another, and uniting with the larger church family for uplifting worship and praise.

Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where your child can grow spiritually and develop a personal relationship with Jesus. We strive to make each child's experience meaningful, enjoyable, and relevant to their stage of life. Through intentional teaching, interactive activities, and heartfelt connections, we aim to inspire and equip children to live out their faith in their everyday lives.

    Middle/High School

Our Legacy High School and Middle School program aims to support students in their spiritual growth and relationship with Jesus. We create a space for students in grades 6-12 to navigate their culture in a way that aligns with their faith in Jesus Christ. Our focus is on helping students seek God and discover their purpose while understanding their identity in Christ.

To bring this vision to life, we gather once a week for a meaningful and interactive experience. During these gatherings, students have the opportunity to share personal stories of faith and be inspired by the teachings of the Bible. We engage in uplifting sermons, and vibrant worship, and participate in small groups that are tailored to specific grade levels and genders.

Each gathering is designed to be engaging and impactful. We begin with an enjoyable icebreaker activity to foster connections among students. Then, we delve into inspiring messages rooted in scripture, allowing God's Word to speak directly to their hearts. Live worship is an essential part of our gatherings, creating an atmosphere where students can connect with God on a deeper level. Finally, small group discussions provide a space for students to engage in meaningful conversations, ask questions, and grow together in their faith journey.

  • First, it is important that you have a personal relationship with God and have accepted Jesus as your Savior.

Second, commit to weekly church attendance. (Heb. 10:25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.) Commit yourself to learning and growing in God’s Word. Be both a listener and a doer of His Word.

Third, fellowship with other Christians. Find places to connect in our church. We offer bible studies, service groups, and church activities.

It is through a committed relationship with Jesus, maintaining regular service, learning from God’s Word, and interacting with other believers that you will grow in your relationship with Him.
